I recently tried out meringue 2. As soon as I open an instance of the plugin it crashes Logic. I am using Logic 7.2 on a dual G5. It passes the au plugin managers tests but will not open at all without instantly crashing.
This is a real shame as I am a huge fan of meringue 1 and just discovered the update so was quite excited about trying it out. For now I have gone back to version 1 until you can fix this problem.

can you send me a crash log?
Meringue 2 does work for most people (including myself on my G5) so I'm sure we can figure out why it crashes on your system.
Which version of OS X are you using, by the way?
Also, please be sure not to use Stuffit Expander to open the downloaded archive, as that seems to cause some people problems.
