Sampletank 2 demos

I was just wondering if these demos were made with the sounds pretty much straight or were they EQed much?

I ask because the sounds work very well together in these demo songs with good clarity and a complete lack of lower end muddiness.

Is this the nature of the sounds out of the box or is it due to good EQing?

Seems like Squids would be the best one to comment on that, since he did some of the work on those.
