well, yes.
but those particular pieces?

well, having coveted a space echo for years, and then compared the boss to ziokiller's gs-201, i went for the gs-201. haven't typed "re-201" into ebay's search-engine since. :)

software not really an option unless its boxed *
me mums old fashioned and likes to wrap something for under the tree, i did say just give me some cash and ill buy some bits i want, but no, thats not the xmas spirit, apparently

*although ill check that out in that case, makes the decision about which to get for chrimmy easier :)

I would go for the boss stuff. software is becoming passe. its getting traded now like playing cards, every day there is a new gumwrapper synth. and then you have the mickey mantles, and such everybody wants... if I have the extra cash, meaning I don't blow it all on my fam, i am going to be grabbing absynthie for xmas..

its like having a nolan ryan though. its quite funny now, software. its so everywhere..

it will be nice to have a couple of stomp boxes :-)

I have no experience with either, but Rutger from Machinefabriek has a loopstation and is very, very happy with it. I think he uses it on most of his recent recordings.
