Actually, I like the asymmetry of the attack in the center. 8)

Think of a curve to the right starting with pressure
then attack then release... with ratio below the curve and on/off above..

Looks nice Daniel!

Ok people, you know what to do! All IKEAs in Sweden must die!@!!

Having had a second look at the GUI, some comments on tiny details (to make the GUI perfect):

- there is a black sort of step to the left below the Input label that is not symmetric to the Output (intentional?)

- the Hard and Soft labels seem to be a bit too far from the pressure knob. They sort of don't know whether they belong to the Pressure or Attack scale. It would help if you moved them a bit closer to the Pressure scale so that they land between the first/last two scale markers. Hard to the left and a bit up and Soft up and a bit to the left.

Nice GUI!
But shouldn't it be 4.3:1 instead of 1:4.3 in the numeric ratio box? Or does it do expansion aswell?

Post

Good question! I've seen both ways so I haven't got a real clue... enlight me please!

The compressor is not doing expansion.

First is indeed a mistake. I moved a layer so it a residue..

Second: yes that make sense even if the pressure and attack operate together.

4.3:1 is the most logical way to write it, in my opinion...

Yay, now I'll be able to tell my grand children some day that I made the world a better place. You see those labels on the 2094, kids? Well, if not for your grand dad they would be here and here! And the kids will be like all WHOA-n't you shut up already we're trying to watch the telly ffs!
