Just demoing it and it rocks!The devs have made great use of the controls,there are shift functions that expand the controls of the pk.I think it covers everything,even loading new sets!Seems to be a bug which sends the gui nuts when i turn a knob in scene 2 but it recovers itself.Still not sure what everything does.Maybe i can use it as a mouse!Drum pad/control surface/mouse combined?Total kontrol indeed

Ok, wait, I admit that looks ridiculously ill. I am excited that my Live-using brethren might actually be able to play with me someday like real muscians.

But we're KVRians. We can just make these things ourselves. I don't use the Live Lite crap I've got (I have 3 copies from hardware purchases lol) but I get it, and it's not that hard to customize the controls from external controllers. You should already have done this if you own such a lovely Korg product.

And for that matter, that's why I use Usine as opposed to Live. All that stuff is easy, customizable per song, per song part, with 8 different hardware controllers at once.

Nice demo, though. I don't use loops or I'd be more excited, but I'm telling my local band friends who use Live (Abzorbr, Company Inc, Japanese Space Program) They're not powerusers.

Well i haven it used mine much since i got it,and tbh i haven't really delved into more advanced midi control.It uses a combination of midi yoke and bomes midi translator so i don't think it's that simple.They've put a lot of work into it anyway,some of the commands call up a graphical layout of the scene!Nice touch

Cool,i didnt know you could customize usine like that.With all this software you need a good level of control.I for a long time have wanted to be ableton fully control my host without using a mouse at all and this software seems to provide that

To have to use a mouse at all with live just seems wrong to me but for live performance could be the perfect contol surface,everything hands on,doing everything on the fly.Have laptop and padkontrol,i'm all set

It's brilliant, I've got to give them a lot of credit as it seems unbelivably deep, intuitive and complete.

Like I say, I'm heartily recommending it to my Live user friends.

I've got the Usine with which you can pretty much do anything with any hardware regardless of what the gear outputs, you can make it do what you want in the software environment, withwhatever filters, constraints, curves, whatever - all on a per song, per part or triggered change basis. It's totally insane to even touch other DAWs now, it was incredibly depressing trying to use a Mac to accept Trigger Finger data in a ReWired Reason within some lite Pro Tools after being spoiled with infinite possibilities so long.

Shit, even non-Live users should check out that video. It's inspiring to know that some people actually understand what's possible now.

If it really is the complete package it appears to be could be the ultimate controller for live.Een if it's not you could still do most of what you need from one interface.I had a look on the forum for bomes midi translator and apparently the pro version(which has been beta for about a year)can translate mouse into xy pad

I was able to scroll up and down in adobe reader and go forward or back in firefox when i pressed certain buttons on my pk with the tkp template so maybe it could be used as a control surface for windows

Sweet!How does the instant mapping work?Can you use it to control more than one device?I'm just waiting to get snare stand so i can set it up and test it out..
