A couple of quick receptor questions

Been through the manual, would appreciate any feedback on the following.

1) I managed to install the stylus rmx .dll and copy over the SAGE library. When I connect my laptop to receptor - I can open stylus RMX and use it perfect...However its not clear how to 'start' a drum/bass pattern from the receptor front panel (i.e. whats the equivalent of clicking on the 'play' icon without using the laptop..?)

2) Does the Receptor need to be defragmented/have its disk checked every so often ?
