Just to clarify. The download pricing is $79.00 each and if you purchase all six, it's $299.00. That's saving $175.00. If you want the hard copies, the price is $99.00 each or $79.00 if you are a register Cakewalk customer. All six are $379.00 ($215.00 savings) or $299.00 ($295.00 savings) if you are a registered Cakewalk customer. Thanks a pretty nice discount.

Europeans pay €94 wich equals $139 according to Yahoo Currency converter.

The VAT does explain a 17.5% difference, but there is about a 100% price increase for europeans.

How come?

I checked with the sales department at Cakewalk and they told me they can not offer products or downloads below the suggested retail of 94 euro due to conflicting with dealers. If you want a better deal, you will need to purchase direct from a local dealer.

Yes, Kontakt 3 will import SoundFont banks.
