(i could probably htrow together a tuner in synthedit myself, but anyway)

anywho... they're not fretless.... but there are samples with fret noises... :P
If you send the samples to me, I'll map them myself. If they are usable, great! If not, then maybe something cool will come out of it until I can get a more detailed set.

Thanks. I'm sure they will be useful in some way!

i've been having some crzy problems with my internet, got that fixed at least for now and i'm trying to get those files uploaded, got the thing seperated into sections, and i had to get new archiver (peazip) to split the files into smaller packages, since i can only maintain a connection for a short amount of time (damn dsl) -- i'll pm you with the links when at least 1 package is put for sure. (the first one is 48 meg, i got 46 up before it conked out on me...)

Post

Here's teaser from the top...

7 notes, about 5.48 meg zipped... have at it.

Thanks. I'm getting them now. I will eagerly await the rest! No worries though. Don't inconvenience yourself for me!

Yep, I got em! I think they sound good so far. I'll be interested in seeing how the rest are. I'm patient though, so whenever you can is alright. I appreciate it!

yeah, i got the packs all split into packs <11mb but my ftp site seems to be freaking out... i'll check again before i go to bed, but i think i uploaded the first full wav, and then deleted it (complicated story, you shoulda been there.

If you can't get it by tomorrow, I'm more than happy to set up an FTP for you to upload to. You may not need it, but just in case yours gives you troubles.

well, i've got two sites donated right now, one for vsts, one 4 a forum... both are honestly kind of strapped for bandwidth, but we've got a couple cats here who really want to give away a lot of samples, and that would take the weight off my vst site... (the forum site is clogged with spam traffic right ow, but we're getting that under control)

So you do want help then? I don't mind. If you are looking for a more permanent solution, we can probably work something out as well. I have a place where I place the stuff for download at The Audio Garden that may be able to be used.

We can figure something out if you need it though.

yeah, it would be great, esp if it's space your already using for samples. Just a folder to upload the files, and i'll post the links over here and at my forum, i've got a drum kit and two more guitars to sample as well (the drum kits really worn out, be the grimiest kit on the net...)

Post

ey! just sent you a pm, the ftp let me back in, sent you the links. we'll worry about the ftp later, i'm sure it'll take a minute to bust up them bass samples. glad you like em. (the other two sections are rythmic + oddities)

Ooh, I dig it - very old school funk/Motown/etc sounding

Keep going with that, mate :D

By the way, wasn't the OP asking for fretless basses? :hihi:

fretless basses - with fretnoise samples in the pack somewhere... preferably, well i'll logically do one better, and send out the pack of fretted basses, only fretsoundless.... wrap one around that.
