Digi 002 Factory outside of pro-tools?

Does anyone know if the Digi 002 Factory can be used with another sequencer and can you use it as a regular sound card if you're not using pro-tools?

The Digi 002 can be used as an audio interface for any DAW. You can only use Digi interfaces with PTLE.
I don't recall if you still have to download seperate drivers to use it as a general purpose sound card. It can be done though.

Thanks Justin! Do you know if audio drivers will conflict if you have more than one installed?
I heard that maybe the 003 factory interface can be midi mapped to other sequencers. Does anyone know anything about this? and can you do this with the 002 factory also?
