IMO it depends on the production and the personal taste of the producer...
Mostly I use 2 or 3 Auxbusses with Samplitudes Roomsim. with 960 Impulses;
My favourites are small and medium ambience, echo plate...
For little tasks like on the last hit of a drum or something like that I use the old tc native reverb - very small cpu consumption and it's doing what I need...
Has anyone tried to use pink noise as an impulse??? ;-)

The Reflect verb by Virsyn should be added to the list. Very smooth verb.

Have you CSR voters even ever heard Wizooverb (OR ArtsAcoustic)?

CSR was the biggest disappointment for me of all times ever, seriously. I wouldn't use CSR even if it was for free. I must have missed the magic button when I demoed CSR. It sounded cheapish, artificial, I didn't get it at all.
have YOU ever heard REFLECT ?

Yes Martin, REFLECT is very smooth and for me it's really one of the best sounding reverbs i've heard.
I hate my self for not buying it to the introduction price at 99 euro :?

And to all you other verbers. If you have a dongle you should try REFLECT.
I'm curious about what others think about it.

Virsyn Reflect is my new favourite - annoying that AA is getting so many votes when the two best native ones imho (Reflect and Variverb) are not able to compete which is unfair. Maybe the poll should be restarted - there's BReverb out now too (not heard that yet) and maybe some others (Omniverb?).

I've tried most of them mentioned (mostly demos except for what I actually have) and my ears tell me Altiverb or Waves IR1 - these verbs along with the loads of impulses are, to me, just simple lush and stunning...for a plug-in.

God bless
What do you mean with "... for a plug-in". This is just a biased, snobish opinion, beased on simple, unjustified prejudice. Open your mind (and your ears).

So once again we can lay all the reverbs end to end and not reach a conclusion. That's because there's none to be had. Every reverb -- depending on the presets, music itself and personal taste -- can be very good to disappointing. Given that the opinions on many reverbs run from love it to hate it, it seems obvious enough that "best" is whatever each person thinks it is. And yet, the threads on reverbs stretch into the distance. :)
We escape the trap of our own subjectivity by
perceiving neither black nor white but shades of grey

Cakewalk by Bandlab / FL Studio
Squire Stratocaster / Chapman ML3 Modern V2 / Fender Precision Bass

Formerly known as arke, VladimirDimitrievich, bslf, and ctmg. Yep, those bans were deserved.

AAR is awesome, I love the Nebula3 reverbs as well. In fact i just made some last night from a keyboard i own!!!
Masterverb is good as well. So is Blueverb by Nomad Factory but blue is not so flexible.
