Midi controllable analog patch bay

Hey guys I'm looking for a hardware solution for an analog patch bay (balanced or unbalanced) that can store presets and be called up by a MIDI program change command.

Basically I have 4 audio sources. Kurzweil PC2X, EMU XL-7, Roland XV-5080 (2 stereo channels). So a total of 8 mono channels.

I would like to be able to route these through my Line 6 Echo Pro and my Muse Receptor, in any configuration for any song. So that would be 4 mono effects channels.

Ideally I would like a piece of gear that could handle a few more channels as I get more stuff.

I have tested my luck so far with the Tascam TM-D1000 digital mixer, which I found to be awkward to use live (and breaks easily on the road). I bought a Peavey MAP 8x4 (basically just a loop switcher for 8 signals and 4 loops) which is an ancient piece of gear from 1988. Basically I own 2 of these and both of them both aren't working properly. I attribute it to their age, and don't have much confidence in their road-worthiness. They're also extremely hard to find.

I've done some research on the net and also discovered the 360 Systems AM-16 Audio Crosspoint switcher, but from the reviews I've read, there is a loud clicking noise when you switch patches, so this would make this gear unusable for me live.

Finally, I discovered the CM Labs Sixty Four which seems PERFECT for me, except that it costs between $1500 and $3000. Which is way out of my price range. I'm looking for something in the $500 or less range.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Would be greatly appreciated.

I was going to suggest 360 systems, I have and 8x8 midi patchbay from them...it's pretty old and standalone. I can say the thing is awesome and rock solid.

Is there a clicking noise when switching patches via MIDI? How is the overall sound quality?

The clicking is probably from physical relays and I doubt it's actually a click in the signal, if that's what your worried about. If you have any music playing you won't hear it anyways, little relays aren't very loud at all. I'm just assuming here.

Well, while I'm at it, I might try picking one up off ebay to see if it works out any better. I wish the CM Labs thing was cheaper, because that's literally the perfect solution for me!
