Post

I am sorry to post again in this forum, I know it's not the place.
I have been a registered user since 3.something, but I can no longer log in to the forums. I am no longer getting update information, or FL newsletters.

I have made at least two support tickets, changed my password at least twice (I think three times now). I tried again tonight, no luck. I've tried everything I can think of, two different browsers, I'm going in circles- support ticket>email with new password>log in>log in fails>support ticket>I get a new password, go to log in, I get a password invalid message.

I have done everything I can do, but I have apparently fallen off of the Image-Line radar.
I need an email address that is not the online support address. It's not working.
Something has been messed up with my account. I need to know what YOU think my user name, email address, and password are.

Please PM me, I will provide my original user name, the email address that I used when I first purchased Fruityloops and hopefully this can be worked out.

Please help!

Sincerely,
cordelia (looong time FL user and former power user)

I don't know if it helps, but Ief managed to solve my problems with forum registrations, via support tickets just the other day.
I also had a completely different email address to the one Image line had on record for my purchase.

Just stick with the support tickets - the system does work.

Thanks koalaboy,
I guess I'll just drive them crazy with it, one support ticket a day until somebody notices. I've filled out three support tickets since October 30th. They've responded by giving me three invalid passwords. Which leads me to believe my user name is not in the system anymore. Or something. I just don't even know anymore.

Bumping this thread every day until I get some help.

Hmmmm been a while since I too tried to access anything Fruity and now that you mention it, I never get emails either from them anymore. Wonder if I'm on the radar still.

Thanks manytone, I could obviously use a beer.

I consider my last post to be my first official BUMP, see. The other two were POSTS.

I know I'm looking lke a nut here, but I started this process of trying to get help about six posts, half a dozen emails, three support tickets, three new (yet invalid) passwords, and exactly one month ago today.
Which makes this an anniversary of sorts, so time for a celebratory beer!

Well, I knew you would reply to me so I counted that too as a bump ;-)

What's better - Beer or Fruit? ;-)

Well, beer, of course.

Another very sly bump.

Yeah... apparently some of the moderators around here are pretty Iron fisted ;-)

(Meffy for president! )

(oh wait a minute...this post is in the Image Line forum ...we can't touch that .....carry on then) ;-)

Meffy seems like a truly good guy. I don't know if his real name is Meffy Ellis, but how can you not like a guy with a name like Meffy Ellis?

Oh yeah- Image -Line forum. :dog: Sorry reflex.

Um, what I meant to say was that reflex seems like a truly good guy. I don't know if his real name is reflex, but how can you not like a guy with a name like reflex?

Post

Nevermind.

Hi Cordelia,

Can you drop me (jmc at image-line.com) a mail with all the links to support tickets, etc you have ?

The problem is that it's becoming hard to reach people by email these days.

Most newsletters are quickly flagged as 'spam', especially if you try to mail
them out to over 150.000 users. We must have over 10.000 AOL & over 20.000
Hotmail addresses in our database ... which for them is enough to just
deny us access to their mail servers.

Hi JMC
No worries at all! I was just curious as Cordelia had mentioned his issue and it made me wonder why I did not see your emails. (I want them ...of course). This may help a few others understand the database and email issues that developers can go through when trying to reach customers. I know...I've been there, and although nowhere near the numbers you mention above, I can fully understand the difficulty it causes at times.

Also, hope you didn't mind us having a little laugh (above) to go with this.... I knew you would sort Cordelia's troubles ;-)

Cheers - nice support ;-)
