Maybe said before, no need to burn the capsule on cd.

I unzipped the ac guitar caps in seperate directory .
Then:
Burn (emulate) the files in that directory as an image on your pc. I have used Nero to create the image. Just like burning on a cd now on your harddisk.You can choose that in Nero.
You can open the image with a virtual cd driver manager.
I used :
Daemon tools , http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/index.php (http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/index.php)?
Start your Ufo and follow instruction,choose a directory I did for Reason 3.0 UFO was landed !
Great guitars really nice .. now I start with others.

Its a great deal already I can use in Reason but later in ST and SS as well!

Can someone do a step by step for windows installation to Sampletank 2.5?

For the life of me, I can't get the UFO to get to the 2nd step (installing sample file). I've tried both burning to a disc and HD install, both with no luck.

Nero to create the image.

I used nero and daemon a long time ago to get rebirth on another PC. Is there another way without having to buy/install more software?

Daemon is Free and Nero was on my PC already. Sure there will be free image burning programs. Did not find out yet litlle googling ....

On PC:

Unzip the zip files to folders of their own
copy all the files to the root of a CD or CD image
load the CD and let "autorun" start the install , or run the UFO executable
Select SampleTank (or whatever) as your target


And there you go....

copy all the files to the root of a CD or CD image
load the CD and let "autorun" start the install , or run the UFO executable
Select SampleTank (or whatever) as your target


And there you go....

I've got that. But when I unzip this leaves me with a Capsule folder that contains a sample file and a program file. The program file is still zipped.

Do I unzip the program file and put that folder in the Capsule folder? Or do I give it its own folder?

Guys, did you know that you can install your sounds on a different HD? I know most programs do that now, but I didn't know if everybody knew that. Then you tell ST where to look.

wow are the sonic capsules a pain to get in to sampltank , the expansion tanks were a breeze to do. but will figure it out eventually

I've got that. But when I unzip this leaves me with a Capsule folder that contains a sample file and a program file. The program file is still zipped.

Do I unzip the program file and put that folder in the Capsule folder? Or do I give it its own folder?

bearfab, leave it zipped. The root of your CD should be, for the el guitars capsule as example:
autorun.inf
EC Read Me. pdf
{folder} Electric Guitar Capsule
UFO_EC.exe

Don't unzip anything in the folder. Either burn a CD and let autorun.inf begin the install, or run the UFO.exe
select your destination format and hit the go button

And all sample in the downloads are .aif files. I downloaded the ST format so is this right?
