ST2 - Any Way to Select Combis over MIDI?

Is there any way to directly select combis via MIDI in ST2 without having to rely on the a host wrapper to recall the snapshots? (The combi drop-down selector is not convenient for live performance) I was looking at 'Forte' and 'Console' type hosts, but that seems like an unnecessary layer to add if only using one soft synth. Thanks.

I had the same question with Sonik Synth - additionally, is there ANY other way to move through the combi presets besides using the dropdowns? I love both ST2 and SS, but trying to find the right sound amongst the hundreds available by click-click-clicking for each preset is painful.

Agreed, you may try the mGUI SampleTank2.5 wrapper ... (works only with SampleTank v2.5)
