Hey guys - I'm editing out this topic.....
Basically I want to get a set of roland v-drums - and want to know which software is good to trigger? Can I use the reason drum kit refill which I could find for pretty cheap? Or are things like battery better?
I was planning to get Live 7 instead but i'll put that off for a while - I assume I could have used it with the "session drums" in Live 7.

I've all but decided on the drums - I need time to learn how to use reason well and if live is around it may not happen...
If anyone has any suggestions as to good software to trigger - would the reason drum refill do? or would i have to get BFD or ezdrummer or battery etc??

I am sorry mate, I don't really understand the question. Are you looking for a drum pad? There a billions around in every price range. Do I know of one that is very good. 
but I would definitely go with anything by Boss, or some high quality company.
As for live, its amazing. but so is reason. however the two programs r very different. Reason is very limiting. You can not toy with audio that much. LIve however wouldn't neccesarily put a damp on reason, because you can rewiree reason to live.
I suggest to pick up a copy of live. It will open up billions of possibilities, get a cheaper drum pad.

I edited my first post - boy was it long - sorry about that!
Basically I want to get an electronic kit - I will likely get Live 7 but later on in the piece. I want the HD-1 for the feel of a real kit in a limited space... as opposed to an alesis control pad or similar....
