Manybass is awesome, needs a few tiny details...

Manybass, sounds great, I've used it on numerous tracks and as a bassist I have to say it saves me time. It could, in my opinion, use 2 features:
Progress bar for loading samples...it currently just freezes up your application until its done loading. Throw in a progress bar so we can see what's going on.
A way to save user settings right in the interface. I know you can save fxps if youre using vst (I'm not) but really, its a trademark of pro plugings to have a user preset management scheme that integrates user sounds into the plug's main library.
Other than that, its my go-to bass plug.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions! I'm glad you're getting good use out of ManyBass.
Have you tried using the new ACT feature? The samples load almost instantaneously.

No, ACT sounds very interesting. How do I use it?
Sorry for my ignorance.

In the latest version, there should be a a button under the soundset browser labelled "ACT". If you don't have this latest version, you can send Paul an email.

Hi
Yes we have a new version that adds Disk Streaming and instant sample load time.
It has been available to all users by request but we have not officially released it yet.
Should make the poll redundant though as progress bar is not needed. Plus we added a mouse busy cursor while loading.
As for preset management, we have talked about better ways. I would like to see them in the browser saved in their own format for example. We'll see what happens in the future...point noted.
Maybe should cancel as a poll though once you try the disk streaming. No bugs have been reported in it and plenty of users have it already.

The new disk streaming kicks so much behind! It's the best implementation of disk streaming I've seen to this date!
If you haven't got it yet, email Paul asap.

Awesome, I'd love to cancel it, but I can't. It says:
You can post new topics in this forum
You can reply to topics in this forum
You can edit your posts in this forum
You cannot delete your posts in this forum
You can vote in polls in this forum
I think an admin would have to do that.
Also, I'd love to get the ManyBass with DFD, do I just email you?

Thanks Metal! It has proved to be some pretty awesome streaming technology.
There is actually a thread and a Video on it here:

Did not hear from you yet but as you asked:
Yes...just email me with proof of order (simply the same email you ordered with or receipt if different)...also let me know if you want PC or Mac.
We will be releasing the ManyBass Disk Streaming version officially, very soon, but until then, it just takes an email and we'll let you at it
And the same goes for all regged users. Just mail me.
It is beyond Beta and has proved 100% bug free so far. (fingers crossed...but I think we got it.). We have a bunch of guys using it and no new bug reports at all since we let the regged users have it over the course of the last few months!
It appears to be solid for an official release that is planned for about the same time we launch www.manybass.com (any time now ...just finishing last bits there. The ManyTone server crash slowed us down a bit on the new ManyBass site)
Thanks Again.
Paul
(who had a crazy couple weeks due to server crash.... but that said... I'm starting to come back to speed)
