Does anyone know where there are any good samples of sizzle cymbols? Like jazz rides with rivets on them, long sustain, etc.??

DFH C&V has a nice sizzle ride, ditto NS Kit 7 (not the free one).

I'm sure there are others. /sk

haha you know what i thought this thread was going to be about? in old casio drum machines and such they used to use sounds of water in a frying pan for the cymbals cause the samplerate was so low this sound effect translated into the cymbal sound the best.

Thanks for the tips. I really just need the cymbal samples, so I was hoping to avoid having to buy a whole drum collection. But, maybe that's the only way.

There's a cymbal soundset for wusikstation, but I don't know if there's any sizzle in it.

I think that you can grab some mp3s.
