cheap vocoder mic - novation k-station

does anyone know of a good headset mic to use with the novation k-station during performance? i'm wondering if some of the normal headset mics are a bit too high quality cause it's going to get run through the synth anyways. or is it good to have a nice mic for this?

I don't know whether the K-Station mic in provides "electret" mic powering, but if it does, I would first try a cheap "gamer" type electret mic-headset available at most PC stores for $30 or less. (Even if the K-Station doesn't supply electret powering, you can add powering with a 9v battery, about $10 worth of parts and an Altoids box)
