How do I get a hold of that?

I'm also going to check out Karma FX.

BUT! I'm done posting audio demos, I'm still looking for a new synth this christmas and I just realized what I've been looking for... something like Karma FX if not Karma FX. Something modular or realtime synthesis. Creating synth sounds from the ground up. I'll have to do all my sound quality tests before I consider buying it.

Unique can make a mean supersaw. It has only two osc. but it has stacked waveforms, on being a supersaw which is 3 saws stacked. so thats six and then there is unison and that stuff so even more. I think it is 18? or 32? i don't remember the technical stuff but you get a viscious supersaw from it.
Krishna Synth could do a monstrous supersaw to using its awesome features.

Xhip can go up to 1024 saws per note. That would be a very stupid thing to do though.

Wait and see :D

P.S.: Yep, okay, eleven stays in there - but I'll change the volume to a more moderate level - Grrrl is a singer, she doesn't like supersaws next to her in the mix :hihi:

Anybody feel like giving me $199 for christmas? :hihi:

I'm hoping christmas money turns out to be sizeable enough...
Cakewalk by Bandlab / FL Studio
Squire Stratocaster / Chapman ML3 Modern V2 / Fender Precision Bass

Formerly known as arke, VladimirDimitrievich, bslf, and ctmg. Yep, those bans were deserved.

Maybe you should write a wishlist to Santa Urs instead :hihi:

Unique is...well...unique, I'll grant you that. Not my cup to tea. Now, SimSynth, on the other hand, rocks! Supersaw city.

Dear Urs,

Thank you for taking my request into consideration and congratulations on your decision. I'm sure you will not see a pouty face on grrl's face anytime soon (at least with regard to 11x osc-for all other reasons you're on your own), not to mention being saved from the 11 angry faces. wheww.. you made the right decision my friend.

Further more, 11x osc will be a great addition to your synth arsenal on grrl's very rare bad days..

Allow me to give an example:

Urs: *plonking down chords with a Zebra2 11x supersaw pad* Sounds great. :tu:
As you can see (and hear), you're decision was a wise one for all.

Thanks again,

-VitD

ps: You know what would be even better than 11x? ... 12x! :o

pps: perhaps the ability to detune each voice per oscillator would be groovy too. :o

ppps: Am I a naughty boy for requesting this? :ud:

supersaw in Sytrus (first dry):

http://www.flstudio.com/gol/SSaws_2.mp3

you have control on the unison's panning/volume/pitch spread, starting phase & more

Tony, Sytrus is the only synth that can do all that, right? Well, out of all the synths I tested, none of them had a modulation page for unison... Sytrus sounds a lot better than my simple test.

I don't know. I'd guess most unisons have a detune control. However often a (very important) starting phase control is missing. Pan & volume spread aren't that important.

Absynth. Toss all three channels into double mode, put your choice of saws in for each main and mod (there's five choices), adjust the phase of each main and mod and slap eight voice unison on each channel.
