I'm looking for a small MIDI controller for on the road

I'm looking for a small MIDI controller to take with my laptop on the road. I want to be able to use it when I'm on the train, or when I'm waiting in a restaurant or a bar (every week I wait there for my wife for two hours, while she's working).

Ideally, it should have an audio interface as well, so I won't have to use my laptop's internal audio interface, or hook up an external interface next to the controller keyboard.

I've been looking into the new Behringer UMA 25s, but I suspect that the quality of the audio interface won't be better than the one in my laptop. The Edirol PCR1 seems also interesting. The M-Audio Ozone might be a better choice, but it's also more expensive.

I think I have a compact solution. I got a Yamaha QY70 sequencer, and an EMU midi-to-usb-cable. The QY70 has a mini keyboard on it, and it sends midi out.

I can focus on a better quality audio interface to take it on stage, this way.

But if anyone has any better ideas...
