The Kable update doesn't let you type

I updated kable today, and in the designer you can't type anything inside your gates and transformers.

Edit: maybe the new update wants me to type in the bottom left hand side space? I reinstalled the older version, just watched the online flash demo, gave me some tips.

Edit 2=Just learned there is an input learn, gives me some data equaling zero, and active sensor data, maybe I will figure something out?
