Anyway, it's a lot of fun to play. Chords are out of the question, though some can do it (hunt on YouTube for some great stuff), but for melodic things, it's already giving me ideas and challenging my ear in good ways.
I highly recommend just going for it if you have an interest and also have a nylon-string guitar you're not doing much with. I whipped up a cool "Amazing Grace" on one string and you start to get a feel for the intonation thing pretty quickly. Surprised me. I did have to file the nut and bridge plastic thing to get the action super low (well worth the effort).
Then Saturday night I spent some time making paper spaceships with a little cousin of mine. So far, a fun weekend full of odd using-of-the-hands projects.
