this is the raw mix, then I'll do one with bass and more effects,
anyway the MP3 doesn't sound as good as the WAV, missing details,

Oh man, sometimes KVR makes me feel so inadequate
Not only are you making kick ass instruments, you're also making kick ass tracks <grin>
Loving the vibe on this one. To my ears it sounds almost like something from Trans Europe Express era Kraftwerk - if they'd been listening to King Jammy instead of Krautrock.

I meant to imply I was going to wait to download it til you finished.liqih wrote:thanks cj, ok I said it didn't sound sparkly as the WAV but this mp3 is not SO bad, or is it? <grin>
It's not like I can possibly give advice on your mixes. They're usually almost TConrardy-like.
Course, I'm listening to the Dadala Sampler CD I just received in the mail, which will eat up all my time til I have to go to my college girls' whiskey party in a bit here. My keyboard player will be there so I pretty much have to attend.
Dub, eh? I like the dub.
I want to tell you a little DSP history I learned at the Pavek Museum of Broadcasting. I always kinda thought that the Beatles and Hendrix and Lee Scratch Perry were of the era that had the very first effects.
At this museum is a turntable, on a little portable dais/cart thing, with 2 turntables like a DJ would have nowadays, and they had 2 playing arms per record so that you could create a tiny, variable rate delay (between needle one and needle two playing) which is rather hip-hop.
I'm rambling. Sorry.
