Does anyone know of any recommendable piano sampleset, that's NOT a multi Gbs affair ?

I just got my new keyboard and wanna start practicing, i probably won't be using this set in any track, so top notch realism etc are pretty low on my list.
I just need something decent and as low on ram as possible.

cheers

edit : i just got samplelord, so any common format is fine with me.

If you have Samplelord, RAM usage isn't really an issue as it does disk streaming. I use PMI Old Lady with it, that's 1.2GB for Gig2 version, over 3GB for the Kontakt one, and don't feel any strain on my 1GB machine.

Anyway, if realism isn't all that important - try something in the vain 4front piano. That's very light.

Check out TruePiano or Pianoteq. Neither of them is heavy on RAM.

Tascam's CV Piano
The download link is at the bottom of the page "Click here to download"

It takes up about 215 MB installed. It sounds realistic, and best of all, it's free. They released it as a promo for their flagship sampler. The down side is that it's a cpu hog, because it uses their shit-hot "Spectral Morphing technology" to use a single sample for the entire velocity range. (i.e., computing it in real time)
Did you know you can turn sigs off in your preferences so you don't have to read this crap?

thanks guys, tbh i totally missed out on the disk streaming in samplelord.
i had never used it, and it works perfectly actually.
I'll checkout what's been mentionned here, but i'll probably end up getting a sampletekk lib, since they are pretty cheap (at least cheaper than the physical model vstis).

To be honest from what you said I'd probably just start out with MDA piano. Not a sampleset at all just a really good sounding free starter VST piano :)..
