Hi. From time ago i have been enthusiast about the possibilities of the sfz format. I have been learning a little about it. I also have in my hardisk the files of the old "Erans sampling project" or later "MSLP". Time ago i translate them to the sfz format, but i found that the translation was not the best.
I have taken some time and made a single SFZ file that allows you to play the "long" samples and the "staccato" samples, selecting them trough two keyswitches, C3 and D3. Additionally, thanks to the help of the rgc:audio forum section, i programmed the Staccato samples to cycle randomly to avoid the "gun machine" effect.
If anyone is interested in use or test it, here are the files. The first one is the sfz file (that you need to put in the wavs folder) and the second one is a little pdf i wrote explaining How to use it.

Well, any comment about the programming of the sfz file is welcome, since im not an expert, just learning like a hobbie.

Im thinking to made something similar to the Cello.

In case anyone is interested, i made the same with the Loefberg Cello, a single SFZ file that allow you to play all the diffrent touchs, Sus,Staccato,Pizzi, Gl Up, Rhytm, etc, via keyswitching:

are the samples for the Erans Loefberg project still available somewhere?
i cant seem able to find em out

They are not available. However, the Audio Garden and Sample Station are currently working to rebuild and remap the samples for distribution. That includes tuning as well. Plus, there will be multiple formats available, since they are originally done in a Reason format.

So they are all still there, and WILL be available. They are actually on my hard drive waiting for me to work with them! So after Christmas the work will begin in the collaboration to put them back into distribution.
