The Nov updated version of Oxytocin crashes Ableton Live 7 upon launch of the VST. Played with earlier versions in Live6 and really dig what I was getting from it. I've contacted Ableton they say it's not a problem at their end.

i've received a email report too about that.
now Oxytocin work, he do know why.
if you can send me a small project (email from web site) from live! 7
i will check that inside ableton live 7 demo if it available.

OXYTOCIN updated :

VCO1 & 2:
"sharp" previously display 100%, now 1 to 256 harmonics
FM Feedback : Log. Knobs

VCF1:
"FLAVOR VIII" added (RBJ coefs)

SAT + LIMITER :
limiter compensation fixed

Free Sliders :
- now, slider will be always centered
- Lin or Log behavior
- inertia : direct input value (ms)
- inertia : separate setting for up/down

mono lfo :
- new GFX design (like the POLY LFO)
- retrig fixed
- now EG can be used as direct modulation source (add 4 free EG)

mono FX :
- sat/dist. removed.
- new filter (less CPU)
- BPF with Q (prev. Res.)
- D/W : Log. knobs

mono fx:
formant filter : -50% CPU!

I'm going to start using this a lot, it sounds really great. When I press record in Reaper it hangs for a couple of seconds, but that doesn't bother me.

Cpu load is no problem. This thing is a monster, there's a million controls.

The Dec update is stable in Live7 on my setup ... (dual-core PC laptop running XP)

hi all,
thanks for reports.

i'm working on a new version to try to reduce again
the initialization time. Maybe it's the problem with Live7.
(it take 14sec on my AMD 2200)
But i think i will loose the presets compatibility because
i rebuilding in depth the main EG. (and maybe all other EG)

OXYTOCIN Updated (in depth):

I've removed unessential object from the poly. path.
i'm too lazy to report all the modification

essentially, less CPU, less ram :
- 8 poly voices (previously 12)
- XP/VISTA version "unified" : the scope is removed
- polyLFO : only one now, GUI/VCO mode/S&H/Quantizer refined
- monoLFOs : enhanced
- Limiter : moved to monoFX
- Formant : Fixed
- Chorus : better
