Hey all!

I want to give myself a Christmas gift and thought would be nice to have some "real/professional" big piano sample. I only have ones from Reason Pianos and Dimension Pro. Sampletekk seems to be always first choice on pianos. I need something cheap (not a pro, just an interested hobbyist) and more pop/rock oriented, rather than just classical sounding.

Based on that, can anyone recommend me something from Sampletekk collection?

Thanks in advance :P

Take your pick! Black Grand is great. White grand is really good choice. The pmi stuff is really good and sounds different. Then there is the rain piano.... I don't think you can go wrong.

Oh yeah, size does matter. Some of the pianos are big! But there are light versions as well.

Humm, the Rain Piano sounds nice! Loving it...

Oh, another thing... I don't have any of the required samplers to run it (Halion, Giga, Kontakt). Can I use extreme sample converter and use it as a Wusik format, for example?

Vertikal Pop would be a good choice for a rock/pop piano
music // twolegs // geometriae
sounddesign // twolegstoneworks

Why don't use ask over on the wusik forum. Since WS can now disk stream, I would expect it to work. And I think I remember someone doing it.

I thought of another one: White Grand Jr.

Thanks, I'm going to see if I can attract some attention on the wusik forum.

My choice for pop/rock is 7cg Jr (or other Yamaha C7s).

The DimPro C5 in the payware add-on pack is pretty decent.
