Alright, just one more question--

Some synths--like the Absynth demo (awesome, by the way)--will crackle sometimes because of CPU overuse. Will a better sound box prevent this?

All depends. If lousy drivers are contributing to the overload, yes, it probably will help.

Well, I do have a fairly good cpu---
Intel t7200: Core 2 Duo (Mobile) @ 2.0 GHz & 4mb L2 Cache.

So that shouldn't be the problem...

MIDI Hardware (is this in the correct topic?)
