Quite a chill and melancholy down tempo track tonight. First go at the mix, so there may be some trimming to do.

Such a pleasure, listening to your music. Wonderful combinations of sound, delightful mingling of tones. This track is soooooo smooth.

Sol Invictus...ya'll.

I agree with bobsled, nice mix of sounds.

What's the bass made with?

This was really neat :-) we are 2 different people.

in the beginning, drums sounded very crisp and fresh with some bite. and at the very end they we all echoed out. I think it made for a cool journey. the glass breaking? I dunno, but it was really cool. and the panning was on point. actually not much I can say about the mix, for obvious reasons. but I did like the low bass, and the chord choices were good. the guitar and everything sounded really great..

um... part of me wants to say... when I use crazy amounts of reverb, and I do often... its usually low passed very heavily as well. it seems to stop the walls are caving in thing, that reverb can do.. i just feel, somewhere between the crisp drums in the beginning, and the open slow echoes at the end... there are parts where I could hear an " air pressure " or a verb pressure....

if you low pass some of this verb between 2 and 4 thousand, that will open up; however I am sure you know about low passing verb all ready... so perhaps this was the effect you were going for.

either way, I really enjoyed the track, it made me see lots of colors :-) and I love seeing colors...

very nice track. I am glad you made it long, good for a lazy moment in a busy day... sounds like this always remind me that things will be ok regardless of the bs that may be going on around me at this time 8)

Gentle track. Like the stringz. Nice touch. My friend described your music as the sound thats going on in his head all the time. He is a bipolar manic neurotic DJ (and a truly nice guy). :)
You rock dub.
Keep rockin dub.

Thanks for the feedback ckat, padro + Jazzy!

Interesting about your friend Jazzy... and I actually find that quite cool, thanks for mentioning it!

I love these tracks that always feel like you are meandering through a place and time. Like the one that made me feel like I was on a river boat ride in the south. This one feels like I'm on a walk through Chicago in the twenties. Not that I know what that would feel like but it's a good image to go with it, I think. Thanks for the trip!

Poly, what can I say? I hate to start recycling superlatives so we'll leave it at this piece being -as per- a great pleasure to listen and unkink to - I almost entirely discorporated by the seven minute mark...Not a bad thing by any stretch of the imagination. To boot, I'm in radical awe at your prodigous quality output.
