I have had a microkorg for ages now and cubase sx2 I think and reason 4.0.
I use cubase as a sequencer and reason as the rack in rewire mode. I have a USB midi interface which enables me to play or control things in cubase or reason from the microkorg which acts as a controller as well as a hardware synth. Untill now I have had to plug the micrkorgs audio output into the line in on sound card and play anything I wanted to hear or sample. Is there a way of using my hardware synth in much the same way I do a software one. Write a bassline say in midi on cubase and have that midi track play my hardware synth as if it were in reason or something. Basically i want to control the microkorg via midi in cubase and hear the microkorg playing my basslines or leads or whatever.
I am about to chew my own leg off with frustration so any help would be much appreciated.
