I've got both and am working though them.
would be good to hear from others who use this resource. Im especially interested in those who use his alternating 6th-dim-6th-dim idea to create 'movement' in voicings.
Im haveing a lot of difficulty doing this and making it sound musical, even when working through the scales involved.
also - single note line players who've used the info in volume 1 - it would be good to hear your thoughts.
feel free to reference to the accompanying books provided.
these dvd's are not cheap - they are however, certainly worth every penny.
Im happy to start the discussion with a few questions - but would like to know who out there is using this teaching material.

thanks

I have the DVDs as I teach improvisation and am considering using them in class as well. I'm a sax player and find the DVDs and the book really informative.

It does not do wonders but no book does, right?

:)

Anyway, we could discuss this further.

There are some great books on improvisation around, f. i. - "Connecting the harmony" and "Goal note method" (these two are pretty much bop oriented)
