Hi all and happy new year!

Was looking to buy a good low budget reverb unit and after reading some really good positive reviews on the REV2496, I though Id buy one, only to find out that here in the UK, they seem no longer available!
A long search through the internet, it seems like zzounds in the states are only selling them. Unfortunatley, they do not ship outstide the U.S.
Strange to think that Behringer would cease to manufacture one of their better units? I do have a Virtualizer PRO, and am quite happy with it.
Does anyone know where I can buy a brand new one here in the UK or Europe or even somewhere in the US that would ship?
I looked on ebay, but I have reservations on there due to some bad experiences and I would rather buy new anyway.

Thanks for the reply!
Yes I did look at this and they say they are waiting for new stock with an unknown
date of arrival. This proberbly means that they will never re-stock them :(
I might just email them anyway.

The V-Verb Pro seems to be no longer available in Europe. Check out the list of countries with prices at http://www.behringer.com/REV2496/index.cfm?lang=eng
Seems to be replaced by the VIRTUALIZER PRO DSP2024P http://www.behringer.com/DSP2024P/index.cfm?lang=eng

Hi COOkie,
thanks for your reply ;)
I already own the Virtualizer DSP2024 PRO and as far as Im aware, the REV 2496 was a dedicated Reverb unit unlike the Virtualizer (effect unit). Also, both were retailed at the same time.
I emailed Behringer, and they quickly replied saying that it has been discontinued and reason for this was due to lack of sales.
I was quite surprised, especialy after reading some very positive reviews.

Ehm yes, they were both put on the market at around the same time (2003 vs 2004)

If you really want it, try eBay again: http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search. ... ger+v-verb
That's a bargain compared to buying a new one offshore with shipping.
