Hello i buyed that sound card and , installed it with original last drivers , Asio 2 , Asio4all, in same conditions (3ms, 44010) in Realtek 97 motherboard integrated soundcard, i have same Cpu Load in Fl studio 7.0. I think i do a bad buy , i want to buy a soundcard that give me Best latency/cpu load , i only want it for workstation and VSTi plugins.
i have AMD 64 3000mhz with 1.5gb ram , i need to upgrade pc or i can do it with better sound card ?, Recommends anyone please...

The 24/96 is a good card - 5ms latency is all you need. You should use the Maudio drivers, not ASIO4ALL. Uninstall all other drivers. CPU load isnt improved with a sound card, thats your PC processor.

I've noticed that CPU usage is much less intensive with ASIO4all than with the original M-AUDIO ASIO driver (for Ozone) ...

The m-audio also works great with linux, using wineasio, and Reaper, for hosting vsts.
