Free LinuxSampler 0.5.1 For Mac OS X Released

Hi OS X users,
the latest version of the free, open source LinuxSampler is finally available on Mac OS X too. it comes with an easy to install diskimage.
Here is the Mac OS X Quickstart Howto and additional infos like requirements, features etc:

It will be interesting to see how well this performs in OS X compared to the Linux version

Hi all,
quick update:
- the first LinuxSampler installer for OS X did not work correctly so we uploaded a new version.
If it did not work for you please get the latest version from our website.
- the Howto was updated to better explain how to route MIDI into LS and audio to other apps. In addition a few screenshots were added.

If there is someone running the Logic sequencer on a modern intel mac it would be interesting to hear what numbers they are getting out of LinuxSampler.
You can use JackOSX to route linuxsampler audio channels back into your sequencer.
