Carillon PC's, for example, come with a nifty front-panel transport which transmits MMC data. It's not a 5.25" panel, but I was wondering if there's any similar product on the market that is?
To have dedicated Record/Play/Stop and FF/RW controls on a 5.25" panel would be a very cool thing indeed.
Any thoughts? If noone makes one, then I'm off down the Patent Office....

Some people have their PC cases hidden under the desk, or even in a closet in another room for noise issues.
It makes more sense to have the transport controls within reach, like on your keyboard
