I know I have been quiet for a while, but I have been working on what has become an almost complete re-write. I put all the donations so far into buying Ms. Pinky vinyl/software. I am incorporating support for Ms. Pinky that will allow real-time recording of actual live scratching. It also means I have had to redo the entire scratch editor and file format to work with more precise data. So far the switch over is going well, but the new version still needs a lot of work to get up to speed with the old version. Many things have changed, and I am excited about the direction the whole project is heading.
Is anyone here familiar with Ms. Pinky or M-Audio Torq that would be interested in some beta testing?
Here is a shot of some actual record+crossfader movement:

I don't have those hardware units, but I've used your plug-in quite sucessfully with my little VR glove, and live no less... I'm glad to hear there'll be an update, and let me know if there's anything I can do to help.
I'm not sure what about the current version doesn't allow for "live scratching" though. I had intended it to be a rather integral part of my live band in the hand of my bandmate Soon, for whom I've made P5 glove and touchscreen interfaces for your VST.

With Ms. Pinky it will support real-time recording of record movement from a turntable (+ crossfader with a little work). DJ's can record their actual hand movements. That's what I mean by recording of actual live scratchingrunagate wrote: I'm not sure what about the current version doesn't allow for "live scratching" though.

Oh, wow, very nice.
Though I must point out that, if necessary, that sort of thing should be capturable by a host one way or another I'd think.
Timecode controller... interesting. I wish I had a VST CC to Timecode generator that'd send tempo info only to the plug-in of my choice.
