Hi

check out the hollow body guitar samples here:

I have bought stuff from them, excellent samples.

Really just about any single coil sample set should get you in the ballpark. Then just follow up with the right plate reverb and slap-back echo and you'd have something.

Of course, the bigsby sound would be harder, but not impossible to do with a straight sample set.

thanks. i listened to the demos for each library and while they showed off that whammy sound i really don't know what to expect from that library. i'm thinking about this one from quantum leap, it's at a good price. but also the demo doesn't really tell me much.

yeah i find it really hard to manipulate samples into this sound, although i agree it's possible. i just find the pitch bend is hard to simulated a good whammy for some reason. obviously the easiest is to just do this stuff on a guitar but that's a long story here

Hi Tunes,

the people there are very helpful, I'm sure if you drop the guy a mail (Daniel I think), he can send you more infos / demos etc. It's a small company that has been around for years,

cool. well i looked closer and it's a whole DVD of material(or four cds). that's impressive for a single guitar(edit: i think that's cause you get the different sampler versions). the volume 2 sounds a bit crunchier in the demo. i just feel like if they do have more demos lying around they probably would've put them on the site right? anyways i'll email and ask. thanks

I'm pretty sure he would make a short demo extra if you tell him what you are looking for.
AFAIK, you can order one of the formats, I don't think they are all on there. I bought CDs, and they only have the Halion format (4 CDs, but that was 2 years ago). He even offered to send me another format for free before christmas, he just wanted the postage!

cheers

At Splurgo we have a Surf Guitar Loops pack available. Feel free to download the demo loops and have a look around!
