Thanks, zeoy - the kit works well and sounds good in Shortcircuit. :tu:

One thing, though. The nskit7-free samples I have don't contain the "-r" in the sample filenames. I was able to easily edit the .scm files to change the sample and zone names to match my sample filenames.

Yeah, I think they renamed the wavs recently that's why I was stating the source of my wavs in the readme file. Glad it works for you know 8)

btw this is my first translation to SC so I went from sf2->sfz format (using the SFZed editor) , then I edited the sfz file in a text editor to split it to kick, snare etc, and imported the new sfz files into different groups in SC. Had to manually tweak the chokes for the hihats (I don't know why but SC didn't recognize them properly).

IMHO NSkit_free sounds great (but needs a heavy low boost for the kicks).

Damn you Zeoy, I was just about to release the same thing. :) I still will, as they will compliment each other. I appreciate the work you've done on this!

Anyone tried those presets? Do they work as they should?

@ rlahalla: go ahead. I'm a SC noob so I'm sure you 'll do it better

They seemed to work fine for me - I didn't play around too long with it, but it sounded good :tu:

If you have a fast connection maybe it's better/easier to download the latest version of the wavs (or the sf2 and extract the wavs then using SFZed, see the readme). Unless it's just a matter of batch renaming.
