Yeh, I don't do offence. I was interested in your comments regarding VSM.. Is there a String Machine out there that does pass muster?

other than samples, no ... not yet ... at least not that i know of ...
however, there's a reaktor ensemble, forgot the name, that emulates a solina ...
it doesn't nail it, but the stringmachine character is there, definateley ...

I just went and got another version? from the krakli site, but it doesn't have the 46 presets mentioned. Just looks like the presets from the initial release.

Did you swap out the VSTi in your VSTi folder and rescan?

hell yeah, it IS!...and it sounds way better than THIS...but since I didn't bring any patches to the table thought I'd do a thanky doodle.

Curious, Cygnus-SF works here in Cantabile and Reaper, but not S3/Stringz2...were they developed in different sytems?

It uses different modules from Cygnus, does it give any form of error message?

Hi, no useful error message, Reaper won't scan it, and Cantabile, which doesn't require a scan, just tosses it back, not to worry though, I'm using that odd OS designed by 973 rocket scientists with no boss, so these things do happen: the guys in Norway forgot to tell the guys in Brazil that they patched the new guys version that was rescued from the retired guys crashed laptop...but hurray, it's a new version! (muttering under his breath )
I'll be back...Great to see the patches streaming in!

@ Artvera.. Many thanks for the patches I will include those this evening and post the update..

blortblort has posted a really nice and calming piece on the Music cafe. It has led me to think that the noise element volume might be quite nice controlled by the modwheel or velocity. I will look into adding this to the interface if i can do it without ruining the layout.
