How about the Edirols From Roland. That is my next purchase. You can find them,,,, hmmm around 250 dollars, for the brand new modell. which is totally decked out. ummm

+1 for the EDIROL. Usable, fully configurable, GM2-compatible, and simply 'works'. I plan to use mine (PCR-M80, oldish but great!) for live performance once I get a freaking duo-core laptop!

The only 25 key keyboard I've palyed that actually felt good was the ORIGINAL Novation Remote 25. Not the Remote 25 SL, or Remote 25 LE. The original Remote 25 went for $599, and it felt like it was a good board. The rest are just spongy pieces of junk, IMHO of course. Keyboard keybeds have severely gone downhill.

reMote 25 LE, instead, worked out very fine to me...so far completely satisfied (apart from the fact it still didnt have any automap, thing that kinda upset me when released only few months after i bought mine
)...

I liked the look of the Microkontrol but if it's anything like the Microkorg I tried in Soundcontrol the keys have absolutely no resistance in them 
Music with dinner is an insult both to the cook and the violinist.
