TC Helicon HarmonyControl Finds Chords/Keys from Guitar2MIDI

Wow,

Am really impressed by this new stomp box. It has Guitar and MIDI I/O and can detect the chords you play on the guitar even from the monophonic guitar input. It also can tell you what key you're playing in.

The product is aimed at singer/songwriters who want to pair it up with harmony processors to add a layer of vocal harmony behind their singing whilst they play guitar but I'm impressed by the technology here. It's the first time I've seen pitch to MIDI tracking that can analyze data on a harmony level. Will we see this come to software-land soon?
