i would love a tutorial on how to do this entire song lol but that is probably too much to ask for on my first post.

but i want to know how to do the lead synth...how to position it in a piano roll to make it slide in the parts that it slides

i also want to know how to do the pad like that

depends on the synth, many turn portamento/glide on or off depending on whether the notes overlap, so make the note you want to glide continue past the start of the next note.

i am very surprised someone brought up this question haha
i, also, always wanted to know how to do that opening pad...

as i experimented i kinda got a close sound to it but haven't quite got the "glide" effect down to par, but still really close
i know for sure that the opening pad are some strings with some chorus/reverb effect and EQ it to raise lower the bass a little.
