Announced at NAMM 08..

Uses Virtual String Machine as its basis, and includes some neat FX like reverse tape, half speed tape, as well as samples from things like the Optigan. Sounds very nice..

Not sure it mentions that the M-Tron Pro filter is apparently based on the upcoming (though apparently not at this NAMM?

I skeeted just now...just used so much M-Tron on my forthcoming cd...really fell in love with it. Actually, more like I realized I've been in love with that sound since birth. I'm all over this. I hope there's an upgrade price for existing M-Tron users.

That's what I thought too, but it seems to have gained a lot of features in the interim.
