Im the stupid guy who made it.

Sickle said something in a mail that there was some kind of discussion about it over at KVR... I made a search and found this topic.

Gonna make a few clarifications.....

1 There is a demo and I removed the noise thing in it. The only limitation is that there is no presets and automation.

2 The demo exists because I need to get feedback from people like you guys. It is a released product
but I have no good way to sell it. As it is now I sell it via email and money transaction. Not the best but I have no
choice right now.

3 The reason that I havnt released any of my other little toys is because the problem selling them.
Theres also another big problem and that is that the administration and logistics of selling plugins is very hard.
Also I havnt figured out how to do the protection antipiracy thing yet. So. The copies I do sell are personal copies
that dont need any copy protection.

4 When I get this administration crap figured out I will start selling it in a normal fashion.
Probably paypal or something similar. Not sure yet.

5 Here is a direct link to a demo:

Try it out and I hope you like it. It has taken years to make.

Made a new thread for this little beast. I really love the GUI on this thing and I do like the sound as well. It can be pretty smooth and nice. The PDR (program dependent release) is a bit weird sometimes but overall it's a very nice compressor. It's obviously running at full samplerate (the envelope follower and gain riding element) as it can do some seriously snappy compression without distorting too much. The sidechain with a bandpass filter is a very clever 2 knob solution and works extremely well. Also, the output of the plugin is limited/soft clipped so even Brook might like this thing!! :D

Notice how Inerthia has no threshold? Well, the thing is you need to adjust the input level. It's the tiny pre-trim knob. Perhaps the only "flaw" of the GUI design. The input knob should be much larger as it's a very important knob.

The exciter section is pretty much useless IMHO.. I have not found any use for it at all.

Some questions:

1) How much do you sell this plugin for?
2) What plans are there for the future development of this plugin? Can we perhaps have a Mid/Side mode instead of the rather useless exciter section? Or perhaps variable stereo link?

Cheers!

Sorry about the duplication. Threads can be split but not merged. Otherwise I'd have welded those other posts onto your thread, bmanic. Apologies for the inconvenience.

This is the split-off thread: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2911737
