Hi, I've already posted it on the CME forums and got some mixed replies..
I've been just happy testing my UF8 on Ableton until I have experienced all sorts of bugs
I'm running it on USB with the latest Driver on WinXP Sp2.
Here are some problems I've encountered:
1) The Device 'goes off' after being turned on for a while but not played with - Ableton fails to detect it..
Everytime I run Ableton I have to indicate that I'm using "UF MIDI In".
2) Starting from the 5th F octave all the notes play on a really high pitch on all VST software I've used including Ableton
Once I wanted to assign the knobs on Ableton it detected all the Vol1,vol2,vol3 etc knobs as one MIDI assignment. However later it was able to distinguish between them..
I'm pretty sure I'm using the right type of USB cable, but it isnt functioning right at all. Please help.

I've seen the "goes off" problem often on my UF6. I just turn it off and back on -- but not until I've disconnected the USB cable, because otherwise it reboots my whole system!
To avoid it altogether I use old-fashioned 5-pin DIN MIDI cables instead of USB. This means I don't get aftertouch and a few other features, though. The work-around is annoying but I've got used to it. The keyboard was a bargain so I'm willing to accommodate a few bugs.
