So would like to put it the guitarists of kvr how good is the boss amp modelling it sounded very good to me what would you say is if any the difference in the sound between the two?

i use lots of Boss compact pedals - in front of an amp. For direct recording or direct to PA my XT Pro is the biz. i never really liked any of Roland's COSM stuff, the modelling was never quite there for me. The X3 also throws in dual amps which my XT can't do. i'm not in the least envious.
What is your intended use? Live work? Studio work with amps? Studio work direct into computer? Combination of any the those?

Thanks for the replys.
I want it for recording into the comp and just genaral playing. Can the x3 layer the amps like the new boss pedal can? I like the idea of that, it's somthing i do on the computer.

The X3 has dual amps simultaneously so yes it can layer. Personally i prefer to layer guitars by playing the parts separately so there's a slight difference in the feel in each part as well as the sound, rather than having the exact same part playing two different sounds. Also as i have the XT that's the only way i can work anyway.griffin wrote:Thanks for the replys.
