Mac sampler

I cant seem to find a sampler VST for mac. Every sampler I find is .dll and I dont think thats compatable with mac. Does any one have a free mac sampler? or know any way to use .dll files with cubase 4?

Mate, I am on Os X, and I hate to break it to you, but you really have to buy something.
I am using Abe Live's Sampler add on. I just don't know of any single freeware sampler for os x That will let you load and sound design with your own audio.
Have a look at this. http://www.yellowtools.us/cp21/cms/index.php?id=307 I think it works os x, I know it has a free version. But it wont let you load your own audio. You are simply going to have to buy something, unless somebody else can think of something?
Maybe the sonic Birth guys, or max/msp dudes have made something they are willing to give away. I suggest posting in the sonic birth forum here on Kvr, or, UM, the cycling 74 forum, see if you can find yourself a max coder, with a pluggo runtime gizmo he would like to share....

so im guessing .dll is windows only :/ what a shame. I think im just going to use kontakt 2. Thanks for the ups man!
