i just got one recently. so far it has been very good, and for a basic midi interface very good means that you don't notice it cause it doesn't give you any trouble. there was one time when i loaded up cubase and the ports werent there so i closed it, and then unplugged usb in the back and plugged it in again. that's usb for you. anyways the price was very cheap for a name brand like motu, i dont know if it's multi-client though. i use one host at a time ha

yeah cubase tends to lose MIDI ports generally I find.
I ask about multi client because it is possible to use MidiQuest as a VST plugin to do hardware synth dumps etc.
Pain having to close your sequencer every time,
