I like to use samplesets of "real" or toy instruments, pretty much in any format - SF2, SFZ, Kontakt, etc...

I'm wondering if there maybe some odd nice freebies out there that I'm not aware of?
If you know of any lesser know little sample gems, perhaps you could mention them here.

I already know about the Precisionsound free stuff, also the RAW samples, and of course the stuff at the Soundfonts.it site.

I'm not really interested in synth or drum samples or any instrument loop type samples.

Cheers

..i've asked for some synth samples some time ago...and someone nicknamed "thelizard" linked me to a Virus B bank present super sample pack for free....

i've tried bank a...it wasn't what i was looking for...but it's top quality for a freebie.....

and finally here is the link to the presets... (i've gave you the other links just in case....)

download 1 rar file at the time...or it will download corrupt... (did happen to me :( )

p.d....the banks need some work in a wave editor...each bank is a large WAV file with 4 octaves of each preset...followed by a couple of seconds of silence...

Hey, nice thread! :)

There's some really good stuff here I didn't know about.

EDIT: That so many talented people are willing to give away so many great sounds is a very cool thing, I think...

I've made a little list here: http://rekkerd.org/freebies-for-native- ... s-kontakt/

Perhaps Babel Audio and Bolder Sounds have some interesting ones for you.
Rekkerd.org the latest news on audio plugins, sample libraries & virtual instruments, synth presets & more.
Don't click here if you can't control yourself!

Thanks for the links everyone.
There's certainly a few here I wasn't aware of previously.

keep em coming though if anyone else wants to add.

BTW, while I'm here I'll add this -

I can recommend the Melodica and the handclaps are not bad.
