Original AT2 depicting Phase 90 ^ !!!

And AT Metal has the other MXR pedal Eddie Van Halen is famous for, the M-117 flanger - plus his signature amp, the Peavey 5150 - and most likely the amp he made famous during classic VH, the Marshall JMP 2203. So it just doesn't make sense that they wouldn't include the most definitive piece of classic Eddie Van Halen gear of all, the Phase 90 - which they even have modeled and ready to go! They should finally make it available in Metal - with the EVH Script switch.

IKMM has finally released details about the 4th Metal amp. It's the 100-watt JMP Master Volume (model 2203), just as I called it. This is awesome. It's the definitive amp of '70s hard rock and the '80s, and precursor to the 100-watt JCM 800 2203.

(The picture they're showing for it right now is actually the 50-watt JCM 800 2204 from Amplitube2: http://www.ikmultimedia.com/stompio/img ... alLead.jpg)

Based on Marshall® JMP100™ head*

An all-time classic, from it's origin in the 70s, through Aussie hard rock, crazy 80's metal and beyond. Few amps have rocked as hard, for as long.

Included in AmpliTube Metal
Now all they need to do is announce that the Phazer 9 will be included in Amplitube Metal. Because without a Phase 90 model, Metal is just not complete. It's just not quite METAL!

I believe you meant, "metel"

er, that is assuming they RELEASE "metal"

:D
so what

Instead of using the JCM 800 graphics from Amplitube 2, IKMM should have used the JTM Super Lead graphics from the Jimi Hendrix Edition as their stand-in for the JMP Master Volume, because the original JMP version of the 2203 actually looked a lot more like the old plexis. Marshall didn't replace the tolex covering with a cloth grille until they reintroduced the 2203 as the JCM 800 in the early '80s.

If says here

http://www.zzounds.com/item--IKMSTOMPIO

that is you buy the Stomp IO, you get Amplitube2, SVX, Hendrix, Metal and x gear included.

What if someone already has a few of these? Do they get a discount? Or can they sell off duplicates of what they already have?

No, it doesn't say you get Metal.
You only get it with StompIO if you already own Amplitube2.
That should answer the first part of your question.

Regarding the second part, you of course can sell your original copy of whatever software you already have and transfer the license through the License Transfer page in IKMM's User's Area.

However, you only get Metal free if you own Amplitube2 specifically.
I supposed you could get your free copy of Metal first, and then sell your original Amplitube2 copy. You might actually break even if you do.

This has already been covered here.

Here is a quote from the ZZounds website
Superior software bundle

5 full software products are included in StompIO: AmpliTube 2, Ampeg SVX, AmpliTube Jimi Hendrix, AmpliTube Metal (only for previously registered AmpliTube 2 users) and AmpliTube X-GEAR. Over $1,200/€990 worth of software alone - more than the retail price of StompIO!

So I already have amplitube so I would get Metal for free as well. It clearly states that it comes with rest included.

I'm not wondering if I can transfer my old licences, I am wondering I can sell the new licenses before they are registered. You could do this with other bundles from IK in the past.

Sure, no reason why you couldn't sell the new unregistered licenses. What could they possibly do to stop you, and why would they? You would still have your original registered copies.

You also will qualify for X-Gear through the website, which you could also sell, since, you get it with StompIO. They are making it sound like the website version of X-Gear will be a special version, different than the one that comes with StompIO in that it will work with generic MIDI devices. But I'm sure it will end up being the same, just like their demos and updates are. Perhaps the web version coming is an update that adds generic control in addition to StompIO control.

Post

If all the versions were on one disc or came with one registration key, that would make it hard to sell the unused registrations.

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

You could sell the original boxed versions with the new key.
A box is just a box. It's the license that has value.

I'm sure they're not going to ship individually boxed copies of each title with StompIO, and I'm sure the software will all come on one CD.

You do have a bit of a dilema if you want to get Metal and sell your new unregistered Amplitube2, since you will probably have to register your new copy to get Metal for free.

Alright this is the big month (allegedly).
29 days.
X-Gear.
AT Metal.
It's all on the table.

Is "AmpliTube X-GEAR to be released this month!!!" finally coming true?
Will they be coming soon, or will IKMM wait until 2 minutes before midnight on the 29th? Or will yet another month pass with no X-Gear and/or Metal again?

Does the fact that they're not even showing the real JMP100 graphics or releasing any details about the cabs and mics in Metal indicate its degree of completion, or just IKMM's poor public relations?

Will Metal satisfy customer wishes and finally include the mythical Phazer 9?
Will the Patriots go 19-0?

Time to make predictions and place your bets.
